Art/Craft Vendor Application | Ellijay Bacon Festival

ELLIJAY BACON FEST RULES & REGULATIONS

EVENT DATE: Sunday, September 28, 2025
LOCATION: Ellijay, Ga. Gilmer Recreation & Parks River Park (1561 South Main Street)
SET UP TIME: You may set up on Sat Sep 27th from 6pm-8pm. There will be no overnight security. Ellijay Bacon Fest & Gilmer Parks/Rec are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property/products. Or you can set up beginning at 7:30 am Sun Sep 28th,
EVENT TIME: Festival begins at 10:00 am. Ends at 5:00 pm. (Last year people came early!)
BREAK DOWN: Please do not break down before 5:00 pm. (Even if you run out of products to sell). All vendors must STOP selling by 5:30 pm. We must be broken down and cleaned up and out before dark!
DONATIONS: We are raising money for the Gilmer Food Pantry. You will receive a donation envelope on Sunday morning. We will have one of our volunteers stop by your booth and collect your donation that afternoon. We are a 501c3 so your donation is tax deductible. Thank you in advance!

ART/CRAFT VENDOR BOOTH SPACE

Please have at least 1 bacon/pig related item showcased in your booth for sale (or can be a give away – i.e. bacon candy, piggy/bacon stickers, etc).
Generators are allowed (no electricity will be available).
Tents must be secured without damaging the grass.
Each vendor is responsible for their own trash. Please clean up after yourselves as we need to leave the park clean.

2023’s attendance was between 5,000-7,000 people. 2024 was lower due to Hurricane Helene. But with good weather we know it will be a big turn out!

In consideration of participation, Applicant agrees to release and hold harmless the Ellijay Bacon Fest, Gilmer County & the City of Ellijay from any debts, damages, personal liability or any suits/claims in connection with the Applicant’s participation in this event. We reserve the right to decline any application. In this event, your application fee will be returned to you.
